AirPod device name appears again and again in Bluetooth

Hi, once I connect my friend’s AirPods to my iPhone 6 Plus in past just for 5 minute than I disconnected it. This AirPod device still showing in my Bluetooth even I changed my iPhone. (Maybe due to same Apple ID using ok both phones)

I removed that device in my Bluetooth menu a lot of times by Clicking “Forget Device” but it appears again when I reopen my Bluetooth menu.

I checked my iCloud account too there aren’t any device added with this name. I tapped Forget device and this appears again.

kindly advise me how can I remove it permanent.

Hi shiekh20,

Thanks for posting on Apple Support Communities. I understand that you've removed a bluetooth device on your iPhone several times and it is still showing up under My Devices. I suggest trying these steps next:

  1. Forget the device one more time.
  2. Quit settings.
  3. Restart your iPhone.
  4. Verify your software is up to date. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  5. If the issue persists Reset all settings. Please be aware that this will remove any network settings, privacy settings, and more. This resource can give you a full detail or what is removed when resetting all settings. Return iPhone settings to their defaults. Always be sure to make a backup of your iPhone prior to resetting all settings just in case.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers!
