ECG app showing up in Apple Watch Series 4, but cannot take ECG

Hello,

I have an Apple Watch series 4 which is on Watch OS 6.2.6

It is showing ECG app in menu.

When i open ECG app, an animated heart appears and ask me to place finger on the crown. When I do so, nothing happens.

ECG on Apple Watch Series 6 I purchased an Apple watch today and everything seems to be paired and working except the ECG feature. When I follow the steps in the manual and the health app the step of opening the ECG app on my watch does not work. I can see that it is installed, all software is up to date, etc but it absolutely will not open on the watch. Apple Watch ECG app not showing heartbeat line I recently upgraded to the new Apple Watch. I use the ECG app a lot as I have a heart condition but on this new watch, when using the ECG app, it takes the ECG but doesn't display the red line showing the heart beat while it's doing the ECG, just the count down. Afterwards the ECG is viewable in the app on my phone and I can see the heartbeat line then but I can't see it live. I have had a look through the settings and can't see anything where this is optional. Can anyone help?

You have to keep your finger there for 30 seconds;
