Apple Watch 3 will not pair after iOS 13.5.1 update

yeah i did that around 15 times still did not work. watched video after video. read forum after forum. it total probably tried around 30 different ways to make this thing connect.

its apple just trying to shaft us per usual

Prior to updating my iPhone x to iOS 13.6.1 my Apple Watch Sport 3 series was working fine. After the update, my Apple Watch was unpaired and now it will not pair with my iPhone. I tried everything but nothing works. Please help.

I’m currently in the same boat and don’t know what to do really. I called an apple representive and they’ve confirmed that since I used an temporary iPhone that had IOS 13 or greater, to pair with my Apple Watch, I can NO LONGER use my “older“ iPhone to pair with my Apple Watch (Even though I have paired my iPhone 6 Plus with my Apple Watch). The solution I was given is to buy another iPhone or simply take in the Apple Watch (with a service charge of course). What a joke man... this is so disappointing and im very frustrated with my purchase of this Apple Watch. What’s mostly frustrating is that I can’t factory reset the watch and have it go back to factory new (at least this is what I was told.) It will STILL use the iOS 13 OS rather......

why can’t the service centre team fix it? Apple support said to me that if I post the watch to them that they will upgrade the software.

I have series 4 and iPhone 6s Plus .. and having this issue.

Agree regarding Apple’s quality and customer service.

i called support this morning and they assured me that they can and will upgrade the watch to OS6

and I tried to update the app and it did work .. i am now on watch OS6.2.6 and the watch is paired and updated. It worked. I just updated the the software. thats it. I hope it works for others too !!

Me too. My guess is that the problem is at the server end and Apple changed something

I have the same problem since 13.5.1 On iPhone 7 and iwatch 5.

it would be good if there is a way to revert back to previous update.

Ok this is a bit strange, I went to watch settings and found out that bt is turned off. Once switched it back on it connects fine.

Ok. I got mine to work. They sent it back to me and it was able to pair. The key is to manually pair it and not to follow the auto / camera pairing. Click the “I” on the watch wjen it is in start up.

Apple Watch- reset it to factory default. You will see a “i” on the watch click it. Select pair manually and this should bypass the B’s Unusable loop the upgrade will put you in. Hope this helps
