Pop up notification telling me I need to update my Apple Watch, happens every time I have a browser open
I contacted Apple support chat who had no information for me regarding a pop up notification I am getting Continuously telling me I need to update my Apple Watch. Offering to large buttons. One to cancel the second to Download. This pop up happens every time I have a browser open. It will pop open several times a minute as I’m hitting cancel to close the window. As I continue to scroll the webpage it pops up almost like the hacker is hoping I will accidentally tap download while I’m interacting with the websites. I removed the Apple Watch from my device list with Apple as my watch is broken. I removed the app. Still get the pop up. Today I got a new one that is from guardapl.com telling me that I have VIRUSES effecting my battery and I need to click DOWNLOAD to get A FIX program.
I have not solicited help for a virus to anyone other then apple chat whom had no help to offer other then to clear the cache website history on my iPhone. This did nothing to stop this pop up! I changed the browser I use and still get the notifications.
How does this program have access to my phone to inundate every browser? Today the new pop up happened without a browser open.
Anyone else experiencing these Roaches?
Does anyone have a pesticide to Eradicate them all?
Thanks
Lisa
