iPad Pro 202o and USB mic

Rode NT USB mic would get picked up my iPad Pro 2020 (latest software) - tried powered UDB hub but still only uses internal mic on GarageBand.

rode NT usb mic shows power and I hear my voice when I talk into mic but sound picked up is from internal mic.

email to rode have not resolved. Apple iPad software problem.

rode works with iPhone 11 but that software is now different than iPad.

Same exact thing here. I've emailed back and forth with RØDE and they claim NT-USB works with iPad Pro using Apple adapters (either USB-C to USB or AV adapter), but I bought them both and they don't work on my iPad Pro 2018 running iPadOS 13.5.1

The NT-USB did in fact work BEFORE "upgrading" to iPadOS, back when it was still running just iOS, but have not worked since. Even though mic is powered, internal mic is always used for recording.

I've sent feedback to Apple and RØDE, but I'm guessing it might be a hardware issue with my iPad Pro.

I have an iPad Pro 2020 running ipadOs 13.5.1 which will not recognize my rode NT usb microphone. I have tried a powered usb connection when connecting Rode to iPad but GarageBand only picks recording from internal mic from iPad.

Power light is on Rode NT USB and I can hear rode mic as I speak into rode microphone and in my headphones but recording in GarageBand only uses internal iPad mic.

how can I get iPad to recognize Rode NT USB mic? Is this a IPadOS limitation? I am able to connect to iPhone 11 but that has lightening connector and runs iOS software. Thank you.
