epic games launcher

My epic games launcher says it needs to update but it doesn't do anything,. All I get is this screen showing all the time with the yellow triangle saying it cannot connect. Only started yesterday. I can access my epic games account but can't get access to play games as need the launcher to work. Worked fine until yesterday
