Corrupt VCRUNTIME140.DLL / MSVCP140.DLL

Hi

After de-installing the iCloud program from my son's PC and installing from the Microsoft store, I'm getting a message saying that VCRUNTIME140.DLL / MSVCP140.DLL (Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop_14.0.27810.0_x86) is either corrupted or not intended for the computer (a PC). There are other versions installed.

With some help from the Microsoft community I installed the multi-installer for the Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributables but this has not helped.

Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions as to how I can rectify it please? I can't even find the original (non-MS Shop) iCloud version to try a reinstall / uninstall.
