My iPhone 7 has removed all contacts synced to Whats

Hi! I was trying to increase storage space on my phone. I didn’t change any settings however my contacts are no longer synced to my WhatsApp. When I go to privacy there’s no indication that WhatsApp has requested access to my contacts either. Also, access to contacts via my Phone Dial Pad is no longer available

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

How many Contacts account (email client server) you have?
What is your default Contacts Account?
Which email account you are using to store Contacts?

This was helpful however WhatsApp still has all of my contacts listed as just phone numbers rather than the name of my contact. If I follow through on the guidelines to request WhatsApp sync with my contacts there’s no options via settings to update or privacy requests in settings.
