Lock iPad keyboard laungage

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to lock the Keypad Laungage on my iPad Smart Keypad. I accidentally keep hitting the ‘Globe’ key and messing up my text input.

Can the ipad "lock" key be disabled on a bluetooth keyboard for ipad? I have a bluetooth keyboard that I use with my iPad. I love it since it is soooo much easier to touch type with it instead of the onscreen keyboard. The problem is that even though I touch type, I do make mistakes. This means that I have to use the "delete" key, but I often hit the key just above it instead. The key just above the "delete" key is the iPad "lock" key. This key has a lock icon printed on it, and is NOT the caps lock key. Hitting this key instantly turns the iPad off, so I have to hit the home key, get my fingerprint recognized then go back to the app where I was previously typing. Is there a way to disabled this "lock" key????

Globe Button - Apple Smart Keyboard Is there a way to disable the globe key on the Smart Keyboard for iPad? I know you can remove the emoji keyboard, and that works. But I would still like to have the emojis, but based on the touch screen. All the answers I am finding are to disable the emoji keyboard. When using the keyboard on my lap I am constantly hitting the button and bringing up the giant emoji window.

can't you just delete the other keyboards ? About the keyboards settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Perhaps remap the Globe key on your smart keyboard, via Modifier Settings on your iPad.
