Apple ID issues

Hello,

Have just transferred data from I phone 8 to I phone 11 pro and I keep getting a pop up to input password to a Apple id account that is over 15 years old and not been used since. The apple ID at the top of the screen is correct. Please advise as to how to get rid of this account as I cannot see it under settings. If I cancel it a couple ot times it does not reappear.

See if this applies. Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

And you undoubtedly will need to see If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201485
