AOC display

Hi all - I followed the instructions from the last post, but it seems that my Macbook Air is not recognizing the AOC monitor, can I not use this monitor with the new laptop?

connecting external monitor to MacBook Air I have a 2022 m2 MacBook Air to which I am trying to connect external monitor. The monitor is connected by HDMI cable to a USB adapter, which is connected to a j5create USB-C adapter that is then connected to the MacBook. However, the computer is not detecting monitor. What am I doing wrong? Is the j5create adapter not compatible with the Mac air?

AOC external monitor e1659fwu not working even after installing driver, allowing security prefs I have an AOC external monitor, model E169FWU, which worked on my previous MacBook Pro, which is the same model as the new one I have now. I followed the instructions on this thread which had worked in the past but they no longer work. When I installed the driver, it warned me that it wouldn't be compatible with future versions of Mac OS, but I can't get it working right now even after going into System Preferences to allow the downloaded driver app. Any suggestions appreciated!
