I have macOS Sierra version 10.12.5
When I switch it On its start well, but after 5 mins all opened applications start send Error (Unexpected close). Even trying to open Safari, software update, iPhoto, Microsoft and a few others, all that happens is that the icon bounce up and down on the doc for about 3 minutes then stop with out showing an arrow under it and without opening the app.
What should I do?

I suspect Hard Drive problems, but does it do better in Safe Made?
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
No its not better in Safe mode.. it actually took long time to load and open the Mac or any program in it like Microsoft or Safari
If I backed-up my data external and I replaced the heard drive with new one.
what will happen to the installed programs and apps, are they going to stay same or I am going to loose them?
If you Clone or backup using Time Machine then all the Apps & data should be fine.
I recommend Carbon Copy Cloner...
