Lawrence I appreciate your willingness to help people with their phone problems. However the Reddit link was provided to show the exact same problem has been occurring on people’s phones for at least two years. It wasn’t provided to show them as an authority or the ‘final word’.
I linked to a post where an Apple phone user was reporting their other file had been overrun. This problem rendered their phone and now many of our phones useless until measures (not provided by Apple) were undertaken.
This is simply not acceptable to many customers that have paid significant money for these products. So please understand the frustration this is causing iPhone users. Your declaration that the problem has been fixed with this last update. Is suspect in light of the problem existing for at least two years.
I do hope your right. I would be more confident in that if they had specifically stated that was the problem being fixed. I don’t find where they have made that statement.
