On the
on the 12 June 2020 I reported and sent pictures of serious sensor burns on my wrist. Apple Informed me they hadn’t heard of burns from the watch. It was never reported before. They would do an investigation and get back to me in five days. I now see there are numerous complaints from watch sensors causing burns. This watch is unsafe and I plan on following up on this.
Medical silicone tape should help reduce your scar as well as form a barrier. I only get the burn now if I forget to put the tape on. The tape I use is reusable a number of times but not cheap. Apple should be trying to resolve this problem of even their latest watch.

1) The Apple Watch does not emit ionizing radiation
2) Antibiotic creams don't decrease the pain of a radiation burn (or any other kind of burn). Topical analgesics decrease pain.
3) You can suddenly become allergic to something that hasn't previously been a problem.

I had watch burns (two holes) ,to the bone. Apple said they did a full investigation, but I hade no satisfaction nor did they hold any accountability. Burn holes have reoccurred several times since. Unable to wear the watch again. I hade the Series 3. Which Series do you have?
I’m in Canada. I have the series 3 and posted here after finding out how widespread the issue was. The agent I spoke with and team that the issue was escalated to in Jan when I raised it made it seem like an isolated issue. Ive have burns and bubbles on my wrist. I don’t wear it consistently anymore tbh.

Why will they not accept it is the actual watch which is the issue? If I forget to put medical silicon tape under my Apple watch I end up with a new burn. Referring us to go to a dermatologist is not the answer, we know the cause. Apple tend to blame nickel
in the watch, but I have never had issues before. We need answers from Apple on how to resolve the issue. An expensive error buying one.

Did you get a reply on your watch 4th June)? I kept my watch and taking it to my lawyer. My burns went right to my bone in 2 1/2 hrs. Strangely I felt no pain, nothing (until next day). Apple need to be held accountable under “product liability”.
