Hi, has anyone got their iPhone X hot while using video and the screen starts going dark, this happens to me a lot, has anyone been able to figure out what was the problem and how you got it fixed.
My Batter's health is at 84%
Peak Performance is: normal Peak Performance.
Lol I took a couple of screen shots when the screen was dark and after the phone cool down the pics look normal. mine does it a lot. I thought it would be the CPU but it seem I have to use my phone on cool temperature areas. this is the first phone I have that problem with, I never had it with the 5S or the 7plus.

It will normally occur after doing CPU intensive tasks, such as gaming. If your screen is dimming randomly, I would recommend clearing the multitasking pane and checking if there is anything running in the background which would be causing the CPU to get hot,
Apps running in the background would be apps with background app refresh turned on. However, these would only be apps that are recently open.
As there is no way to monitor CPU usage in iOS, I would recommend looking in battery settings to see which apps are using the most battery. Generally, the apps that are more CPU intensive also use the most battery.
All iPhones will dim their screens when the CPU is hot to keep it at a safe operating temperature. When the CPU cools, it should return to peak maximum brightness.
