Icloud settings opens randomly on Windows 10

Why does the iCloud settings window pop up randomly on my Windows 10 PC? This is not a low storage warning. I have plenty of storage remaining. Every hour or so, the iCloud settings window just opens up by itself. This occurs even when I'm not touching the keyboard or mouse. I've had iCloud installed and running well for several years now, and this just started today.

Hi Dudley3,

I understand you're having trouble with iCloud settings, and I want to help.

Follow the steps in this article to make sure iCloud is up-to-date:

Set up and use iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

Have you recently installed any software that could be interacting with or launching iCloud?

You could also try to remove and reinstall iCloud to see if that solves the issue.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
