iPhone SE battery drain

Any1 else having short term battery usage,i bought the iphone se a few days ago,the battery doesnt last at all,thinking about taking it back,what a shame,my 1st Apple product.....

You can look in Settings>Battery to get a look at what apps are using the most battery. It's possible one of them isn't running properly and is "wasting" battery on you.

An hour of YouTube streaming could put a decent dent in your battery percentage, even if you were on wifi. Things like screen brightness and volume impact battery life, too.


I took a look at the specs page, and Apple lists up to 8 hours of video streaming on a single charge: https://www.apple.com/iphone-se/specs/

If I'm doing the math right, your one hours of YouTube would be around a 20% decrease in battery life. That leaves the other 20% for the remainder of the time.


I don't think there's anything wrong with your phone.
