How do you turn on continuous play or even just play next episode on apple tv when on a smart tv?
As of now, the app doesn't keep track of the watched episodes, which episode you're on, and requires you to go to the next episode instead of auto play or play next option.

but it is supposed to work like this:
Add a movie or TV show to Up Next - Apple TV app user guide - Apple Support
Up Next should work like a queue, presenting the user with subsequent content. Unwatched episodes of the same TV series should auto play from Up Next.
