downloading update
trying to download an update for 10.14.6 -- when there is about 30 seconds left in the download, it says the network connection was lost - even tho it clearly hasn't been. Help please

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
Do you have 20-30 GB of Free Space on your drive?
