Then why don't you tell us exactly what model phone you had, where you purchased it, what country you are in now, etc.

You haven't given us enough information to do anything other than guess.

If you wish to leak your story out one line at a time, you may find nobody wants to play.

Phones don't typically get repaired save for batteries and screens. Not sure there is such a thing as a software chip.

Nobody is debating you may have received poor service, but replacing your phone is a very common option when you are out of warranty. A theory you have yet to speak to.

You don't have a warranty claim.

I'm guessing you have a phone that was originally sold in a country other than the one you're in now.

It can only be serviced or replaced in the country where it was originally sold.
