Problems with transferring movie from Imovie to my files

Hi there amazing apple community!

I edited a movie with Imovie from like 01:32 long, and i tried to transfer it to my files (takes like 4-5 hours), but the moment after the transfer is finished and i try to open the file it says: 'problems with transferring to files' and the whole transfer is cancelt. I have tried to change the quality from 1080p to 720p but it didn't help.

Don't know if it matters but the size of the movie is about 8.0 gb

Anybody that can help me out or having the same issue?

I would like too hear from you, many thanks in advance!

You might not have enough disk space, either on your internal drive or your destination drive. That might explain the slowness of the export process and the fact that it didn't complete. Go to Apple Logo/About this Mac/Storage and see how much free space you have. You want at least 25GB.
