Lost single airpod and won't ring

I lost my left airpod. When I go to FindMy on my phone it doesn't give me option for Find Left or Right. Also when I ping for sound, even the case and Right pod don't ring. (my phone and macbook do when I try them)

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected.

Good luck.
