Front Camera Flips the Photo from what it looks like as it’s being taken on iPad Pro 12.9” 2020

I go to take a picture with the FRONT CAMERA. I get the image on the screen in the camera and get it to look how I want it. Then I take the picture and when it comes up....it’s FLIPPED!!! Why on earth do that???!!! I mean it LOOKS odd and NOT the way my iPad Pro 12.9” 2017 camera took the picture. Is there a setting for it NOT to flip when I take a photo. I don’t want my to have to flip the images I take in a photo editor just to get what I SEE when I am TAKING the photo.
