My question is what to do when a wheel located next to "Install Now" is spinning? It has been spinning for nearly 2 hours. It's trying to install Software Update iOS 13.5.1 on an iPhone 11? I just transferred information from an iPhone 7 and everything ran smoothly until the software update.

Mine started installing at night when it was plugged and until now 1pm it’s not done and every time I click or hold the side button to try to turn it of it says “ iPhone will restart when update complete” but it been almost 12 hours since the it started installing the update. Any help?
switching to new iphone12pro-max from iphone 6s.
Stuck on software update to 14.3.
Install now wheel stuck - spinning 2+ hrs.
I was able to bypass the update by powering off my iPhone 11, and then it gave me the option to update tonight and began transferring my data from my old phone.
Same. And it worked
I have had this issue setting up the iphone 12.
I have followed the advise of installing then factory setting to resume setting up phone.

if ur experience same issue again
press the on off button on right hand side of the phone for a sec or two
a pop up will will come...press start over
ur issue is solved
I was transferring data from a 6s to a 12 mini, it was stuck all night and didn´t work. Had to start over and work just fine
