How to Protect iPhone 11 Camera Lenses

I will be buying the iPhone 11 soon and I am wondering if I should I get a camera shield/protector? I always have a screen protector on my phone for an extra level of protection so I was wondering if I should do the same for the camera? I've seen various different camera lens shields surfacing and I just want to make the right decision. The two big things I am concerned about with getting a camera shield is that I don't want it to affect the camera quality, and I don't want it to damage the lens(es) if I decide to take it off. But I also don't want to risk dropping my phone without a shield on and breaking/damaging the camera bump or lenses. I imagine it would be quite expensive to have the camera repaired in that case. If you think I should get a camera shield/protector, please leave links to some good quality ones if you know of any. Thank you.

Get a "gel" case thick enough so the lenses do not protrude is my suggestion

Use a quality glass screen protector as the front camera looks through it and you can lay the phone face down
