google music lock screen controls disappeared

All of a sudden I have lost my lock screen controls for the Google play music app on iPhone XS max and also apple watch.

Edit Lock Screen I used to have music app preview on my Lock Screen when listening to music. Once I closed the app / deleted it from the history, it would also disappear from my Lock Screen. But since the last few months I can’t figure out how to remove it from my Lock Screen. And it ennoys me a lot as at my work people can see the music app open on my locked phone and they could think I’m listening to music while at work. Ive tried to check settings in several topics (Lock Screen, widgets, music App, edit Home Screen...) but can’t find where to remove it. Does anyone know please?

Apple Music App in iOS 13.2 can’t seek within a song/podcast This used to be available in Now playing screen, now replaced by less helpful Up next list. The only way I found to seek is to lock the screen then seek from the lock screen widget while the screen is locked. Can we please have ability to seek reinstated?

iOS 14: Remove music and podcast controls from lock screen I have an iPhone 8+ running iOS 14. It is typical for me to listen to music when I go running, but the default iOS accelerometer and lock screen functionality is causing me problems. When I run, the motion causes the lock screen to turn on, and exposes the pause, rewind and fast forward buttons from the music and/or podcast apps. Inevitably, body and pocket contact will cause the app to pause the music, interrupting my exercise. The most obvious solution would be to have an option to remove the music control buttons from the lock screen. Several web searches and YouTube videos with incorrect remedies and instructions later, I am no closer to resolving the issue. Any ideas on how I can stop the music from being paused when I am running with the iPhone in my pocket?
