How can I get my emails to not go to my husbands phone. We have different accounts but they are still going to his phone

Are you both using the same Apple ID?. If not....
Are you both using the same email account?. If not...
Have enabled a rule in your email account for forwarding to other email account?
There is no other reason for emails to go to another iPhone
