After updating to safari 13.5.1, the font in the address bar on secure website such as financial or banking is not in green anymorE with a green lock icon.. Are they still as secure even though in black font with lock icon

The browser still validates the SSL/TLS connection. It’s merely the EV visual indication (the green highlight) that has been deprecated.

The successful Extended Validation, previously indicated by the use of green text in the Safari Address Bar, has disappointingly been deprecated by Apple.
If recollection serves me correctly, I believe this feature was dropped in iPadOS 13.4. This feature remains present in earlier versions of iPadOS/iOS.

Do you know if the website is still as secure without being in green font? I always thought green font with green lock icon meant a more secure (extended validation cert.) as opposed to standard validation cert. if in black font and lock
