Unable to install Catalina. "An error occurred while running scripts from the package "RecoveryHDMetaDmg.pkg"

I'm unable to install OSX Catalina, I'm getting the following error:

"An error occurred while running scripts from the package "RecoveryHDMetaDmg.pkg"

Anyone else getting this, and does anyone have a workaround?

Thanks

Do you have any anti-virus or security software installed that may be interfering?

Do you have sufficient free space on your drive? You may need 20GB - 30GB of free storage space for the install. If you haven't backed up in a while, then the APFS snapshots may be taking up critical free space on the drive.

You can try running the installer again while booted into Safe Mode.

Or you can boot into Internet Recovery Mode (Command + Option + R) or from a bootable macOS USB installer.
