I can't get rid of CNN update message

Since I upgraded my MAC, I receive CNN updates on the top, right hand corner of my screen. It is distracting. I tried going to notifications, but I do not have the CNN app installed. I tried unselecting the NEWS app, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

iMac 27″, OS X 10.11

Look in the Notifications section of safari's Websites preference.
