iMovie Files
Where are the actual finished video files stored on my computer? How can I find out how much room those files are taking and how much memory they are using?
iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

The original media in iMovie projects is stored in the iMovie library. You can find out how much room those files are taking by going to Go/Home/Movies and doing a control-click/Get Info on the iMovie icon.
If by "finished video files" you mean a shared out movie, then the movie will be located at whatever destination that you chose when you shared it out. You can do the Get Info procedure to see the file size.
The clips that you see in your iMovie project as you are editing take up very little room, almost nothing, because they are not original files or copies of them, but only editing clips that refer to the original files in the iMovie LIbrary.
