When I try to create a slideshow from my album, why is it changing the order of slides ? I want the slides in the same order? And why can't I select music from Itunes - the songs are all greyed out, I can't select the ones i want.

iPhoto version 3 dates from about 2003 or so, and won't run on any current Mac. Do you mean Photos v3? Photos is the app that replaced iPhoto 5 years ago. Can you clarify?

As to the music: Because we can save a slideshow project as a video, which would remove all digital right from the audio files in the sound track, we cannot use audio files for the sound track, that have digital rights attached. Usually you can use songs purchased from the iTunes Store, or songs you have ripped from an (unprotected) CD, songs you have recorded yourself, for example by creating a song arrangement in GarageBand.
