Hi,
I am in the process of buying Airpods from a private seller. To authenticate the headphones I used Apple's https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ website. When I put in the serial number that the seller sent me, I get a "Purchase date not validated" message. What does that mean? Should I be worried about it? The seller has bought the airpods on amazon.
That can just mean that the buyer didn't go to Apple's website to enter the purchase date. The happened to me on my Mac before. All I had to do is go to Apple's website and enter the purchase date and it was verified. Not sure how Apple did that though since they didn't ask for a receipt or anything.
