I have both fingerprint & passcode set up on phone. I would like to be able to choose either to unlock phone or use Apple Pay WITHOUT having to go back into settings each time. Can this be done?
Use a finger that is not registered with Touch ID. On the second press with an unregistered finger, the Passcode numeric pad will appear. Don't lift the finger between presses.

As far as I know you cannot set it up to use either/or.
It works. Thanks Rysz. It may seem like an odd request but for me I want to flip between fingerprint & passcode easily.
Can I have both fingerprint & passcode available to me for unlock and Apple Pay without going back to settings to change it? For example I want to use Apple Pay sometimes it’s easier to put in passcode other times my fingerprint.
