ICloud connection problem?

After logging into the Windows-10 ICloud app, I see the iCloud primary screen. But to the left of the "Apply" button i see a spinning circle which never ends. ICloud app is NOT responsive.

iCloud on both my iPhone and iPad seems to be operating normally.

I've deleted and reinstalled iCloud on my Windows-10 Pro Desktop, but the issue remains.

Problem started after the last Microsoft 365 update was installed.

Ideas?

Thanks!

Hi there WEdward2,

Thank you for choosing Apple Support Communities!

It sounds as though you're observing that when opening the iCloud for Windows app that it will become unresponsive. You're in the right place, and we'd be glad to assist in seeking a solution.

Below is a resource that can help:

Get help using iCloud for Windows

This resource provides quick checks and steps that can help. If this doesn't resolve the issue, the next steps would be to create a new user account on your computer to see if the issue persists there.

I hope this helps,

Cheers!

Did not resolve the problem.

as soon as I start iCloud I get to the primary panel that shows options:

iCloud drive

photos

mail, Contact, Calendars and Tasks with Outlook

Bookmarks

the a graph shows the stg utilization

bottom right corner has the option:

Apply. Close

i see a spinning circle to the left of Apply and it never stops. App is unresponsive and I can do nothing with it.

i have uninstalled iCloud, downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled but I still have the same issue
