I want to know if I can link a mac mini 2018 with a HDMI cable to the HDMI port of a 4K monitor's with 3840 x 2160 resolution.

I want to know if I can link a mac mini 2018 with a HDMI cable to the HDMI port of a 4K monitor's with 3840 x 2160 resolution. That configuration is not listed on the Apple mac mini 2018 site.

I am thinking of getting a 4K monitor with a Display Port 1.2 port and 2 HDMI ports and want to know if I can connect a monitor like that to the mac mini and it will work. Any advise appreciated.

Thanks you for your speedy reply. I had looked at that and on the apple site it also has posted:

Mac mini (2018) supports one HDMI display with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz, plus one of the

following configurations:

One 5K display with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 at 60Hz

Two single-stream transport (SST) 4K displays with resolutions of 4096 x 2304 at 60Hz

One multi-stream transport (MST) 4K display with a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2304 at 60Hz

So my question simply is whether if I can link a mac mini 2018 with a HDMI cable to the HDMI port of a 4K monitor with 3840 x 2160 resolution, because the resolution is not one listed above. Also, I need to know if one can just use a 4K HDMI cable from mac mini to 4K monitor with an HDMI port or if must use another cable.

Thanks.
