Charging issue with Ipad pro 12.9 2019 model

Hi folks,

I recently purchased Ipad pro 12.9 (2019), 2 days back I started to see a strange behaviour in charging the ipad. When the Ipad is plugged to power adaptor and switched on, it wont charge, however when I plug the ipad to my PC using the apple usb type c port it will charge.

I have tried different usb cables using the power adapator connection, its not working.

The only way the ipad charges is connecting the apple type c usb cable to my Pc.

Did anyone face the same issue? if so how it was rectified ? Any advise pls.
