So this is how my new MacBook arrived. I've contacted Apple support and they asked me to send them these pictures but I haven't heard back and they didn't really say how long this is going to take. Are they going make me wait another 2-3 weeks before they send a return shipping label and a replacement?

Yes, they issued a refund.
The process for damaged products is that they take pictures from you and open a case with the carrier. Within 6 business days Apple will respond to you and give you a return label. The wait is mainly due to carrier verifying things.
That's good to hear. Mine also came with a damaged hole on the ups box, macbook pro box and the machine body itself like yours. I've been waiting for a couple of days now hopefully get resolved soon. I was worried because I read people wait for weeks for apple to get back to them...
oh god, same thing happened to me just 2 days ago. Did your case got resolved? If so how long did it take? I sent them those photos and still waiting for reply...
