I bought an iPhone 5s second hand off the internet but it has this activation lock how does one remove because the owner who sold me the phone I can't get hold of. South africa

You can't; it's an anti-theft measure. Ask the people running the website you bought it through for a refund.

So there is no way of having this removed? I bought it off facebook. An the original owner just doesn't answer my calls
