Permanent Fix for iPhone YouTube Issues

I've been having problems playing YouTube videos since I bought my iPhone 11. Yes, the reset network settings fix works, but only for a time. If I leave the sight or turn on my VPN, I have to do it again. It's getting tired.

is there a permanent fix for this issue?

Thanks.

Hi wordswork,

It sounds like you're having trouble with YouTube. Let's work together to understand what's happening.

What exactly isn't working in YouTube?

You mention leaving the site, are you using Safari to go to YouTube or are you using the YouTube app?

Using VPN will cause routing differences to the website you're visiting or app you're using. If this is only happening on VPN you might need to contact your provider or YouTube to have a fix recommended.

If you need to contact an the app developer, try this:

I use both the app and Safari to access YouTube. If I don't render my network connection, on safari, I get a message that says, "Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost."

if I try to access YouTube through the app, the videos never start. I just get a spinning whit circle if I click on a video. Strangely enough, the ads never have a problem playing. Or the ad previews show even though I don't click on them.
