icloud backup

hello 

i am having trouble restoring my icloud data i have sold my iphone xs before a year ago and even backuped my data and now i have bought iphone 7 so logged in with the same apple id but it say no backup found i have tried several time but same so i set it up to a new device and only my photos and contact were restored. (none of my mails, apps,ringtones,wallpaper,reminder,documents, or setting is restored i have some important data please help
