Disable Bluetooth keyboard

I have a Mac desktop computer with High Sierra just installed. At sign-in, the wired keyboard is not typing/entering any letters in the password field. Then the Bluetooth keyboard message pops up and I can’t do anything else. Except for a restart. There is no menu bar, so I can’t go in system preferences to change Bluetooth settings.

I’ve tried all three USB ports and I get the same Bluetooth keyboard Message. The mouse still works in the USB. The wired keyboard worked just fine until now.

It's not seeing the USB KB & figures you must want a BT one.

1.. Shut the machine down.

2.. UNPLUG the power lead to the computer and any peripheral devices.

3.. leave it for 10 minutes.

4.. Hold power Button in for 10 seconds

5.. Connect everything back up and restart.
