I need to move most or all of my photos from the iPhone XR since I’m am running out of storage. When I connect the phone to the computer the DCIM folder shows up, however it appears to be read only. So when I try to move the photo it doesn’t work.
Are the other ways to move the photos from the iPhone to the Chromebook.

One way would be to use the Google Photos app. Google Photos on the App Store

Move is CUT and PASTE. You can't cut.
Copy and paste instead.
If I add the photos to google photos and delete them from my actual phone it deletes them from google photos as well.
