Can’t import photos from iPhone XR to Chromebook.

I need to move most or all of my photos from the iPhone XR since I’m am running out of storage. When I connect the phone to the computer the DCIM folder shows up, however it appears to be read only. So when I try to move the photo it doesn’t work.

Are the other ways to move the photos from the iPhone to the Chromebook.

iPhone XR, iOS 13

If you don't want to use Google Photos (the easiest method) then see if the following instructions will help: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/6206527?hl=en

You may want to also try the Chromebook forum: https://support.google.com/chromebook/community?hl=en
