Hi Joshua, I’ve got the same issue. I just checked the page that you linked, but it everything seems alright.

So, sometimes, when I watch some live streaming on Twitch, I hear a “pop” from the principal speaker (home button side). I verified that only when the iPhone is charging (original iPhone charger from the box). If it can be helpful, once I charged my phone with the MacBook Air 30w power adapter, with a usb-c/lightning cable. Thanks for your time, cheers

my iphone se2020 does this too.

the first week was ok. and it worked fine and then suddenly it startet, but mine does it even when the phone is not charging .

sometimes the sound (mostly in cod mobile and the youtube app) disappears completely for a few seconds and then it comes back very loud.

i also get this problem with headphones, but not so often.

i guess it has something to do with the components getting not enough power from the battery, very annoying!

i resetted the phone and i downloaded the latest updates, but it didn't change anything.

gonna return my phone.

Yes, I’ve taken it in for repair. But they didn’t find anything because the restarting and popping sounds stopped happening exactly the day I handed it over.

Warranty covers any repairs but I ended up paying about $40 as you aren’t covered if they can’t find anything. The restarting and popping sounds aren’t recorded or logged by the iPhone in any way so you really have to be “lucky” that the bugs occur while the technician is looking at the phone.

It should be noted that there are no Apple Stores in my area so I was forced to take it in to an Apple certified repair shop. I don’t know if Apple would have charged that fee.

But like you said, these bugs are definitely related to charging: It seems I can avoid the bugs entirely if I only charge wirelessly. So that’s what I do mostly and only occasionally do a cabled fast charge if I’m in a hurry.

Since doing this I don’t seem to experience the bugs. But only time will tell if this will last.
