Iphone 11

When I dial a phone number the keypad works flawlessly. When connected to a phone system and try to press a number, the keypad does not work and the call is disconnected. Extremely difficult to order perscriptions.

iPhone keypad I am unable to answer telephone calls from apple support. keypad does not work if asked to input a number. The input is not recognized by the apple caller/computer, so apple support call back is canceled. In fact the keypad does not appear to be functioning at all once I answer the call (and can only answer from the call "notice" displayed at the top of the phone screen.

Solved it. Needed to reset the keyboard. Went to settings/general/reset/reset keyboard. That fixed it
