Unable to update multiple tracks

I have the latest version 12.10.7.3 and am unable to update multiple track info - e.g. cannot change Genre of multiple tracks even on same album. Previus posts suggest running as administraor - changing to song view , I tried these and still nothing works - not even an error message . I can update individual tracks but not collective

Issue Resolved by Self - I updated the whole of my music folder attributes to remove "Read only" and it works now.
