Rename file not available

I want to rename files in Finder. The rename option is missing from the right-click and from the Actions drop-down.

As far as I know there is nothing different in the system. It's MacS Mojave 10.14.5.

I have shut down and re-started.

How do I fix this. Thank you.

Renaming files only requires highlighting the file, tapping the Return key and renaming the file. It cannot get much more simple than that.

Thank you. That worked! And simple. I will do that in future.

Now the right-click rename option has reappeared as well.
