Hello everyone. I have just bought a MacBook so I am new to macOS. I have a spelling problem in my language Greek. When running Mojave I set it in auto mode with auto correction and I didn’t have a problem either in my language or English. Since I downloaded Catalina when spelling is set to auto Greek is not corrected in spelling. What should I do?
What app are you talking about?
For Apple apps, go to system preferences > keyboard > text > spelling and set to Greek (not automatic). Also in the app make sure Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar is set to Greek. Does it work right when you do that?

You can try going to "setup" in the list in Spelling and check only the boxes for English and Greek and then set it to Automatic. Whether it works as well as you would like you will have to find out by testing.
Thank you very much. I have fixed the problem with Greek. I cannot use both Greek and English? I want the spelling for both languages when I switch the keyboard.
