My MacBook Air is running very slow

my mac is running very slow. I think it’s from my activity monitor: it seems full. I have never messed with this since I bought my computer. I haven’t needed to I don’t think. Can you help me figure out what’s causing it to run so slow?

Activity Monitor is just what it says, it monitors the thousands of things going on in your computer at any given time and is not likely to be the cause of your slow down. If you know how to use it you can look for the slow down cause in Activity Monitor How to use Activity Monitor on your Mac - Apple Support
