Apple Music draining battery

I have a new iPhone SE and battery was fine. Recently battery is draining quickly and device is warm. I checked battery usage and seems Apple Music is running in background for both 24 hrs and last hr. I tried power off, music is off, background refresh app for music is off , notification off too. Can anyone help? Running latest iOS.

I have same issue. I waited two hours to get my case upgraded two levels of support to the 'Engineers'. By connecting my phone to my Macbook they were able to upload my phone data and checkout 'the logs'. End result seems to be as you have reported here. Delete Music App and then reinstall and reboot phone. Battery under Settings was showing 'Background Music' using 69% over 24 hours but now that has disappeared and the Apps usage now seems logical. Time will tell if battery life improves.

I have recently contacted @applesupport via Twitter & also been having some conversations with other users. It seems to be an issue that Apple can resolve. One user has had the issue fixed via a DM conversation with Apple Support. Not much use to you or me I know, but hopefully somebody from Apple will comment on this with the issue/solutions.
